Beaded bandits
A couple of Tungsten beadheads in the fashion of Uhorčík, the fabled bandit hero from Slovakia.

Thanks, the thorax is hare fur from the back of the animal. It has lots of guard hairs, so it gives the thorax great structure and a scruffy look.

ReplyDeletehi jindra glad i found this blog still wet behind the ears with the czech styles and loving it got total bug fever i fish the clyde the lammington beat and over the last year has produced well over a dozen 2-3lb fish especially a mrs 50 (52cm to be exact)

ReplyDeleteI appreciate your comments, though it shames me a bit that the relatively speaking young technique of Czech (or Polish) nymphing is so popular in the UK but the venerable tradition of Clyde style flies is almost unknown over here :)
